We have been in our house for 19 years and are now ready to downsize to an apartment. We have found one which ticks most of our boxes, BUT it’s in a 2-unit strata building. There is a strata manager.

I’m looking for advice as to what we should look for and ask before buying, please.

I have never lived in an apartment before.

Apparently there have never been any disputes and our sellers lived in the place for 10 years. The other owners live over 3 floors and we would have 2, so I guess their voting rights would be 60-40 over ours.

      Thanks

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
