      Our unit suffers from severe water contamination – in only one bathroom of a 2 bathroom unit The contamination is in the form of grit that damages ceramic seat taps and cistern valves.

      Continual questioning of the Strata managers and EC over several months has lead to one plumber call – which has been billed to us!!! (and not paid).  The problem is still severe, still mending taps at my expense. The Strata managers blame Sydney Water, Sydney Water say this is a building issue as it appears in only certain areas of the building. I know other units have had similar problems but have reached a stone wall. 

      How to handle this issue?

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services.
