    Hi there,

We recently signed on a new tenant. His payment history has been

    Dec: full payment

Jan: half payment (2 weeks rent)

    Feb: no payment

After no responding to two emails we finally got it touch with the Managing agent. She has advised the she has sent any eviction notice and that the tenant is trying to come up with the funds.

I have looked up the fair trading website but would like to hear other forum members experience. I am frustrated that the agent did not notify us earlier about the tenant’s financial situation. Am I being unreasonable in believing that it is unacceptable to just send a statement with $0.00 rent received without a phone call to explain. How can agents justify their management fees, if they can’t even keep track of our account.

    End rant!

    TIA
