Our nearly 10-year-old building has water ingress issues with our windows that need to replaced as they can’t be repaired according to engineers
It is apparently due to incorrect installation not complying with BCA when it was first installed. Who is a competent person that can do this.
The OC thinks a licensed glazier is fine (who would be cheaper).
The strata manager says it should be a builder class 2 with adequate insurance as there are about 100 windows that may need replacing. Who’s right?

The first thing that occurs is that surely this was a defect that should have been identified and fixed in the first six years of the building.

Secondly, I think your strata manager is right. It needs a fully qualified and insured professional for a job that big and you could do a lot worse that approach our sponsors Windowline for a quote. Be sure to mention Flat Chat when you do.

They have all that and more – they are brand leaders in this area. Mention Flat Chat and they’ll look after you.

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum.
