The carpet in the stairwell is 20 years old and is worn through in places thereby creating a hazard. There are only 2 levels of stairs. I have raised this problem and I have been told by a neighbour and strata that due to other issues in the building requiring funds they do not wish to replace the carpet. How can I get some action on this as it is extremely shabby? We have a Strata meeting next week.

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services.
