What’s a hyphen between friends? A couple of weeks ago, after about 15 years of the Flat Chat web address having a hyphen in the middle we discovered the unhyphenated version was for sale.
So we scraped together our unspent holiday money and bought it. That was the easy part.
Next our digital helpers had to translate the whole website and all its addresses to the dash-free version.
And then we had to update our email addresses.
And then I discovered my automatically saved logins didn’t work. Waaaaah!
But it’s okay. I tried to log in to flatchat.com.au, used my usual username, dug out the impossibly complicated password from its secret storage vault, and here we are again.
So if this has happened to you when you tried to log in, just use the same username and password as before.
If like me, you use the automated passwords stored on your browser, or you can’t find them, click on “forgotten password” and the website will let you have a brand new one.
And, if all else fails just, email us at our new unhyphenated email address mail@flatchat.com.au and we’ll sort you out.
