It’s been a good year for pets in Australian apartments. NCAT has started bouncing unfair anti-pet by-laws in NSW and tenants with pets can’t be unreasonably refused in Victoria, if they have the landlord’s permission.
So it’s very timely that our friends at Pet Insurance Australia have just released their 2018 list of the 10 most popular names for cats and dogs top 10 popular pet names. There are some new with some new additions to the list, calculated from the names of approximately 150,000 pets, right across Australia, who were newly insured in the last 12 months. And there a re few unusual names too.
“This is a great time of year to celebrate our fantastic pet names,” says Nadia Crighton from Pet Insurance Australia. “There were certainly some new names that made the list, including Willow and Cooper.”
