Where I live there are virtually 3 buildings, not completely separate but they have their own entrances with tiles to the front door. We are about to retile.
A group of people have control of the committee and they are asking us to vote on the tiles we want for each entrance separately, so then we could have 3 different sets of tiles (not matching). This principle was never agreed to by the Committee and certainly all owners weren’t asked, so that’s the first question – Do they need to ask all owners if they want to deviate from the standard practice and have different colours for different parts of the buildings.
The second question is – they are wanting the votes on the tile colour to come from the owners in each separate section, not allowing us to all vote on the whole. Surely you can’t split the OC into sections and specify the parts of the property we have a say in?
We are one SP and I would have thought we should all be able to vote on all the tiling.
