Bannerman Lawyers are addressing two major strata problems with their November webinars. First in line this month that irksome issue when your bathroom or kitchen springs a leak and everyone below knows about it before you do; your apartment’s waterproofing.

The first November CPD webinar is on Thursday 16 November at 3.30pm with David Bannerman, principal of Bannermans Lawyers and Leo Meng, director of Leo & Associates Consulting Engineers covers all things internal waterproofing.

Leo Meng will cover the governing regulation and Australian standards AS 3740:2021 of waterproofing of domestic wet areas, Design & Practitioners Act 2020, NCAT claims made due to the inadequate waterproofing and more!

New Work Health & Safety laws came into effect very recently on 24 October 2023.

To find out all you need to know, join the webinar on Tuesday 21st November @3.30 as Bannermans discuss obligations of the managing agent under the Work Health & Safety Act 2011 and far reaching impacts of the Work Health & Safety Amendment Act 2023.

This will include clarifying which strata community schemes are PCBU’s, requirements around written procedures, work health safety for requirements for managers and strata and community schemes, safety reports, asbestos, lift and design registration and much more.
