buying common property

      I am a unit owner in a small strata, we are all ground floor.  The others want to break up the strata and become independent under torrens title.  We each have our unit entitlement but how is the common property divided.  Is it divided according to unit entitlement, or is it divided equally among the owners?

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum.
