NBN Contractors broke into our building

      As the topic says, NBN Contractors broke into our building and destroyed the security door lock in order to run wiring into the common area.

      Our building was unsecured over a weekend, and we’ve had to pay to replace the lock.

      We had no notice of work about to be commenced at the premises. All residents are usually out during the day so had no idea what was going on until returning home to an unsecured property.

      Commercial premises on ground floor had a key to security door but there’s no indication that the key was ever sought from them.

      Has anyone else had this happen? What can we do to recover cost of the lock replacement?
