Thank you so much Jimmy and to all those who responded.
Really appreciate the help.
Thank you for the responses.
hi Jimmy, do I need a solicitor to write that letter to the SC or I can do that with an email?
regards
Thank you all for your responses.
I did remove the bins a couple of times and leave my car for a week on both occasions but the bins came back when I went away for the weekend which I usually do.The SC is clearly playing games hence I thought writing the email is me formalising the issue.
The car space is my lot. My unit have a lot number and I pay levy for it. My car space has another lot number and I pay a separate levy for it.
I feel like engaging a surveyor will be an unnecessary cost considering the strata plan shows already my allocated car space with dimensions.
Is there a clause in the SSMA that states the owners corporation cannot encroach 0r use an owners lot without the owners permission?
NCAT mediation would require a breach of the SSMA or a strata by-law for it to be initiated.Thank you for any response in advance.
Thanks everyone for the responses.
I decided to suck it up and pay my share of the special levy. Thanks Jimmy for the advice.
im actually in a situation where my special levy contribution is $5k higher than the quote I received privately for the same window replacement.
What are my options? My windows definitely need replacement but I don’t think I can afford that extra $5k. I will barely manage to afford the cost of the private quote.
Is paying the special levy the only way I can have my window replaced?
