We’re making a bit of a departure (no pun intended) from our normal Lock Up and Leave column from this week as we have hooked up with Luxury Escapes – a travel firm that we know and trust.
When I say “hooked up” they aren’t paying to be on our travel website Mildrover.com but they do provide us with brilliant ideas for trips, hotels and resorts at home and abroad.
So we curate the best offers that people like us and, dare we say it, like you might enjoy if you wanted a break from your apartment.
We have looked at the kind of trips that seem to attract Mildrovers and have boiled it down to a few major categories.
There will be interesting and informative tours to places like Sri Lanka and, especially, Japan. Alternatively, splashing out in a fancy hotel right here in Australia seems to have an appeal too, as do cruises.
So those parameters are our prime focus. What’s in it for us? We run a few Google Ads that bring is a few cents a week (literally) and if someone books a Luxury Escape holiday from the Mild Rover website, we get a small commission.
And with that in mind, our first offering is at the Novotel Sunshine Coast, near Twin Waters in Queensland, with breakfast and evening drinks included, for just under $600 for three nights – a saving of more than 70 per cent.
Have a look at the story on Mild Rover and if you’re interested there’s more detail – and booking forms – available by clicking on the link at the end. This is a time limited offer so get in there, if it takes your fancy.
And it’s not just hotels, resorts, tours and cruises. The Mild Rover website has a ton of personal stories, reviews and advice, to have you dreaming of your next Great Escape.
Oh, now that I see it, we might change the name of this column to Great Escapes – that works on so many levels. You can start planning your Great Escape to the Novotel, Sunshine Coast, HERE.
Choosy Cruise: Visit our great wine regions by luxury cruise ship. That’s HERE.
