POLL: What shops do you want in your block?

Many of us would love to have this Parisian-style cafe on our ground floor ... but it's in Paris.

This week’s poll is related to two stories that we have mention in the Flat Chat Wrap podcast.  One is all about “placemaking” which is building homes in a way that makes the whole area a better place to live.

And the other refers to the NSW government’s plans to ease restrictions on the height and size of apartments blocks built near established shopping centres.

So we were wondering what your perfect selection of shops and facilities would be, if they were moving into your block.

Would it be a seamless row of fast-food outlets so you had maximum “choice” or would you rather have a chic wine bar, a deli and bookshop?

Choose a maximum of five shops or services from the list below and if what you really want isn’t here, let us know on the Forum just by clicking on the “latest posts” link on the website.

What kind of retail outlets would you most like in or near your block?

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
