Bannermans Lawyers kick off their free 2026 Online Webinar Series with two sessions in March, covering some of the most pressing issues in strata law.
The first webinar, on Thursday 19 March at 2pm, features principal Joseph Bannerman unpacking water ingress and section 106(5) claims.
Topics include compliance challenges under the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020, owner claims for water ingress damages under the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015, and common waterproofing failure patterns in both new and older schemes.

The second session, on Thursday 26 March at 2pm, brings together Matthew Jenkins and Conrad Gornik to examine the upcoming Strata Schemes Legislation Amendment (Miscellaneous) Bill 2025.
Key changes on the agenda include exemptions for two-lot schemes from holding general meetings, interest on overdue contribution payment plans, new window safety device duties, and updated disclosure requirements for strata managing agents on commissions and training services.
These seminars are authorised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions for strata professionals.
