      We have a small self managed block with an owner who lets his apartment. When any maintenance issues or problems arise the owner just says “talk to my agent”. The agent is then fairly unresponsive and treats the Owners Corporation with disdain.

      Can we refuse to deal with the agent, who after all is only the owner’s agent in relation to the tenancy, and insist that matters be addressed by the owner himself.

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
