umm, so kaindub your saying that if someone wants to put up a fluro light fitting for example, that the sparky is wrong for correctly telling the owner that the fitting MUST be earthed and is just trying to dip into the owners pocket?

Call me naive but I really dont even understand why this is an issue. If you have a sub-board within/on your unit/villa why would you expect the OC to pay for it??
