Despite all the doom and gloom, people worried about defects, buildings falling down and the trouble and strife that can come from living in apartments, there are a lot of us who wouldn’t live any other way.
So, after two fairly negative polls – about cost-cutting and annoying neighbours – we thought we’d let a little sunshine in this week to try to find out what you like about apartment living.
Is it convenience or a sense of community? How about not having to climb stairs in your home and a view from your windows when you get there? Or is it as basic as security of having several doors, a lift and a few storeys between you and potential ne’erdowells?
Pick up to five things that appeal most to you from the list below – or tick the “none of the above” box if you hate it and just want to get out.
And if you know anyone else who has a strong opinion about living in strata – positive or negative – please click on one of the social media buttons below to share the love (or otherwise).
This is your chance to make your opinions known – and you can be sure that at least we and other Flatchatters are paying attention. Anyone can vote here but you have to be registered and log in to express an opinion through our Forum.
