Camel - a horse designed by a committee

They say a camel is a horse designed by a committee – but then what better beast to get you across a desert?

This month our sponsors Bannermans Lawyers are hosting another two webinars to help you navigate the vast expanses of strata knowledge, and the first is about committee meetings.

In it, David Bannerman promises to cover notices, notice periods, ratification, dysfunctional committees, recent cases, tips, traps and trending issues.

That’s on Tuesday August 9 at 3.30pm and you can book your slot HERE.

Two weeks later on Thursday August 18, again at 3.30, David’s guest will be Hazel Easthope, Deputy Director of the City Futures Research Centre at UNSW and one of Australia’s leading thinkers about all things strata.

Apparently, investors are currently driving a surge in collective (or “forced) sales in strata schemes.

David and Hazel will examine the latest trends, proposals and methods that are proving the most effective in getting past the usual obstacles, as they discuss this relatively new area of law.

You can sit in on their discussions by clicking on THIS LINK.
